The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes.
The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs;, and layout sketches to plan tubing installationsMeasure, cut, thread, bend, and fit tubing to specified dimensions using hand and power toolsAssemble and install tubing systems, fittings, valves, supports, and related componentsPerform hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak testing on completed systemsEnsure joints and connections are made according to engineering standards and safety codesVerify material specifications and ensure all fittings and tubing are free from damage and contaminationWork collaboratively with welders, pipefitters, and instrument technicians to integrate tubing with other mechanical systemsMaintain accurate records of work performed and report progress to supervisorsWhat you will bring to the team:Familiarity with Swagelok, Parker, or equivalent compression fitting systemsExperience as an Instrumentation Tube Fitter in oil & gas or construction projectsTrade certification or vocational training in pipefitting, tube fitting,
