They are seeking an experienced Payment & Reconciliation Specialist to take ownership of a critical finance function.

exceptions and variancesCalculate and process client payouts accurately and on timeValidate provider fees including processing fees, chargebacks, interchange and FX costsMonitor failed payments, duplicate transactions and settlement delaysProduce reconciliation reports and payment performance analysisMaintain robust controls and audit-ready documentationSupport compliance requirements and operational risk controlsWork closely with Finance, Client Success and Technology teamsIdentify opportunities to automate and improve reconciliation workflowsSupport the business through its NetSuite go-live and ongoing optimisationTHE PERSONExperience in reconciliation, payments operations, treasury or finance roleStrong understanding of payment processing flows, settlements and funding cyclesExperience within financial services highly regardedStrong Excel skills with confidence handling large transaction volumesProven ability to identify, investigate and resolve complex reconciliation issuesStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilityExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExposure to NetSuite, ERP systems or reconciliation tools would be advantageousDegree qualified in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline preferredFull Australian working rights as this is a permanent opportunityIf we have already spoken and you are already in my Finance & Accounting Network, please feel free to call or email me directly.
