This is an excellent chance for someone with strong leadership skills and experience in food manufacturing who enjoys leading by example and maintaining exceptional hygiene standards.About the RoleWorking after production has finished each day, you'll lead a dedicated cleaning team responsible for ensuring our factory is thoroughly cleaned, sanitised and prepared for the next day's production.
This is a hands-on leadership role, where you'll supervise the team while actively participating in cleaning operations.
The role operates on a rotating seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.Your ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise the afternoon/evening cleaning teamCoordinate daily cleaning activities across production and High Care areasPrepare and manage cleaning rosters to ensure adequate shift coverageTrain, mentor and support team members, including developing the Second in Charge (2IC)Ensure cleaning is completed to the highest food safety standardsComplete and verify cleaning records and compliance documentationOversee the safe handling and use of cleaning chemicalsLiaise with Production Supervisors during shift handoversSupport environmental monitoring programs, hygiene inspections and food safety auditsPromote a strong culture of food safety,



teamwork and workplace safetyAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys developing people while maintaining high operational standards.You'll bring:Previous leadership or supervisory experience within food manufacturing, food processing or a similar hygiene-controlled environmentDemonstrated experience cleaning High Care or high-risk food production areasSound understanding of food safety, GMP, HACCP and hygiene requirementsExperience with cleaning chemicals, dilution rates and safe chemical handlingThe ability to train, motivate and support a teamStrong communication and organisational skillsReliable attendance and availability to work a rotating seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidaysExperience with any of the following will be highly regarded:Food Safety or HACCP qualificationsChemical handling certificationExperience within fresh produce or chilled food manufacturingForklift or Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licenceCurrent First Aid CertificateWhy Join White Prince Mushrooms?
