You will have the opportunity to:Support the goals of care for the residents in the service in partnership with each resident and/or their representativeIdentify barriers that prevent consumers from participating in meaningful and enjoyable activitiesEncourage the wellbeing and independence of residents by supporting them to engage in preferred activities and interestsEmbody a person-centred approach,



recognising and promoting the individual's unique goals and preferencesParticipate in risk management and continuous quality improvement activitiesBuild strong and productive relationships with your team to deliver positive outcomes for residentsAbout youA fantastic outlook on life with a fun personality!
Experience working in Lifestyle/Recreational Activities teams in Aged care/Disability/Community services desirableCert IV in Leisure and Health and/ or relevant tertiary degree preferableA sound understanding of aged care and the principles guiding this sectorIt is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.Our commitment to diversityWe welcome and encourage applications from people across our diverse community, especially from Veterans, current serving ADF personnel, their families and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.
