Excellent chance to move into Medical Affairs from Med Info or SalesRegistered Pharmacist and MD degree requiredWe are partnering with a highly recognised, purpose‐led healthcare organisation operating within the regulated consumer healthcare space, seeking a Medical Affairs Associate to join their growing ANZ team.This is a hands‐on Medical Affairs role sitting at the intersection of science, compliance and commercial execution.Operating in a fast‐paced and collaborative environment, you will play a critical role in enabling compliant product promotion, strengthening product credibility and supporting speed to market across both existing portfolio and pipeline initiatives.This role has direct impact on claims substantiation, advertising approvals, KOL engagement and day‐to‐day marketing execution, while working closely with Marketing and Regulatory stakeholders.About the roleWorking within the Medical Affairs function, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of medical strategy and ensuring all product claims, advertising and external engagement are scientifically robust, compliant with TGA and industry code requirements, and commercially effective.Key responsibilities include:Reviewing and approving marketing materials to ensure compliance with TGA requirements, Advertising Codes and internal standardsDeveloping, maintaining and updating claims evidence files, ensuring all substantiation is current, accurate and audit‐readyProviding clear and practical guidance to Marketing on compliant claims wording, risk assessment and substantiation requirementsSupporting efficient advertising approvals to enable timely go‐to‐market executionPartnering closely with Marketing to translate scientific evidence into compliant,



compelling product communicationsActing as a trusted scientific advisor, balancing regulatory compliance with commercial objectivesCollaborating with Regulatory and cross‐functional stakeholders to resolve claims and compliance queriesSupporting identification and engagement of Key Opinion Leaders, including healthcare professionals and relevant influencersProviding scientific and compliance guidance across KOL interactions, content and educational initiativesContributing to continuous improvement of Medical Affairs processes and ways of workingTo be considered for this role, you will bring:A tertiary qualification in Medicine or Pharmacy.Experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Scientific Affairs, Sales or similar within complementary medicines, consumer health, FMCG health or pharmaceuticalsWorking knowledge of TGA regulations and advertising requirementsExperience reviewing advertising materials and developing claims evidence filesExposure to KOL engagement or healthcare professional interactions (desirable)Robust attention to detail and the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements in a practical wayAn effective communication style with the ability to influence without formal authorityA collaborative, solutions‐focused mindset and comfort working in a hands‐on, fast‐paced environmentThis newly created role offers strong development potential, with scope to grow as the business and Medical Affairs function continue to evolve.
