Working in a regional newsroom offers an experience like no other, allowing you the opportunity to take ownership of your market and report on all rounds.

This environment allows you to make a difference in news and is truly rewarding work.Reporting to the State News Director/Chief of Staff, you will be responsible for researching, compiling and producing high quality news stories for our weekday news bulletins.
You'll liaise with editors and camera operators to ensure our bulletins meet deadline and are of the highest standards.
This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday.About you:To be the successful candidate, you will have:A university qualification in journalism with at least one year experienceExcellent oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated understanding of how to compile a ratings winning bulletinKnowledge of local,
national and international news stories affecting the communityDemonstrated understanding and working knowledge of media lawAccuracy and excellent attention to detailAbility to meet deadlines through effective time managementCapacity to operate in a team environment, contributing positively to working relationshipsAbility to identify story opportunities, and operate with initiative and flexibilityPositive work ethic, and the ability and willingness to learn new systems and processesWhat we can offer you:At the WIN Network, we value our employees by offering a vast and varied array of benefits.
