A long term casual assignment with a very real option to extend for the right person.The RoleBased in a bustling workshop workplace, you will be directly involved in the manufacturing of vital parts for the Australian Navy.
No two days are exactly the same!
Your daily toolkit will include:Precision soldering of electronics and components.Mechanical assembly of parts.General workshop and mechanical duties as required.About YouYou don't need a lifetime of defence experience-we value attitude and potential!
To be successful in this role, you just need:Citizenship Status: Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (with a clean police record) to meet defense security clearances.The Basics: Prior exposure to soldering and electronics.The Mindset: Strong mechanical aptitude, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for building things.Ready to level up your career?
