Your expert team management skills will allow you to support sales staff and empower them to grow with the support of an experienced network.Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll take the lead in building strong relationships with local producers while driving sales across agricultural products and merchandise.
You'll mentor, support, and develop your team to deliver professional, efficient, and high-quality service - both in store and out in the field.ResponsibilitiesInspiring and motivating your team to maximise their potentialBuilding and maintaining solid relationships with clients to provide personalised recommendations to strengthen the growth of their businessesCultivating new sales opportunities to strengthen Elders presenceDriving the marketing and promotion of all Elders productsPrioritising the safety of your staff and clients, and actively contributing to Elders' zero-harm cultureCoaching and mentoring staff in identifying and developing new sales opportunitiesAbout youHave a proven track record in sales management with an understanding of agricultural servicesHave a solid knowledge on livestock and agency operations.Are comfortable and thrive in a collaborative and agile working environmentAre resourceful, forward thinking and passionate about effecting real change for both your clients and your communityUnderstand that people are our most important assetHave an ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with clientsAlthough a tertiary qualification is not essential, sound financial knowledge and solid business acumen is requiredThis role could be suited for an existing Branch Manager, Merchandise Sales Manager or Territory Sales Manager.About EldersAs a trusted Australian agribusiness, we have played an important role in the agricultural sector for 185 years.
