INFORM is seeking an experienced Formwork Estimator to join our team in Auburn NSW.
This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our construction estimating operations.
As a Formwork Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate bill of quantities for tendering and measurements for site operations.
You will be collaborating closely with our project management and construction teams to deliver precise estimating services that support successful project delivery.Key responsibilitiesPrepare detailed formwork cost estimates and bill of quantities for commercial, residential and infrastructure construction projectsAnalyse project plans, specifications and site conditions to determine formwork system requirements and material quantitiesLiaise with contractors, architects and engineers to clarify project requirements and technical specificationsConduct site visits and measurements to accurately assess project scope and formwork complexityPrepare tender documents and quotations for formwork systems and labour costsReview estimates for completeness, accuracy and compliance with project specificationsProvide cost analysis and value engineering recommendations to support project management decisionsWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Formwork Estimator or similar estimating role within the construction industry, ideally 3+ yearsStrong understanding of formwork systems, materials and construction methodologiesProficiency with estimating software such as Bluebeam/ArchiCADAbility to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings accuratelyKnowledge of Australian construction standards,



building codes and safety regulationsStrong mathematical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlinesExperience with quantity takeoff from plans and specificationsRelevant qualifications in construction, estimating or related disciplines would be advantageousWhat we offerINFORM is committed to providing a supportive and professional work environment where your expertise is valued.
