About the Role
As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care within a dynamic critical care environment that supports some of the most advanced medical and surgical services in Melbourne's east.
You will work alongside experienced clinicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based care while continuing to develop your critical care skills and expertise.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering high-quality, patient-centred care using evidence-based practice
Performing comprehensive patient assessments and clinical interventions
Collaborating with medical specialists and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Building strong relationships with VMOs, patients, and families
Contributing to a positive team culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Maintaining professional practice standards in accordance with AHPRA and Healthscope policies
About You
You are a passionate critical care nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
To be successful, you will have:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Minimum three years' experience within an ICU or critical care environment
Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care/Intensive Care Nursing (desirable), or willingness to work towards one
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A collaborative approach and commitment to teamwork
Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
A genuine passion for delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement **** (Salay range between $***** and $***** + 12% Super)
