About the role
Bring your passion for people, retail, and community impact to one of Australia's most trusted organisations. As our Assistant Store Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the success of a Red Cross Store while helping create a warm, inclusive space for customers, volunteers, and the local community.
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in all aspects of daily operations and confidently steps into leadership when they're away. You'll lead from the floor, spending around 90% of your time engaging with customers, coaching volunteers, and ensuring the store looks exceptional. Your focus: drive sales, deliver outstanding customer service, and build a motivated, high performing volunteer team.
What you will bring
Experience supervising a retail store, ideally fashion or recycled goods
Strong sales and customer service skills
Ability to build inclusive, high performing teams
Awareness of current fashion trends and brands
Visual merchandising and presentation skills
Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work wide-ranging shifts
A positive, solutions focused attitude and high initiative
