We're looking for aRemuneration & Benefits Managerto join our People & Capability team and play a pivotal role in shaping how we reward and recognise our teams across Kmart Group.

In this highly influential role, you'll provide expert remuneration and benefits advice, lead key annual reward programs, and partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver fair, competitive and market-aligned outcomes. From managing large-scale remuneration reviews and bonus processes to leading complex projects and job evaluations, you'll help ensure our reward frameworks support both business objectives and the attraction and retention of great talent.

Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you'll combine strategic thinking with strong analytical capability to make a meaningful impact across one of Australia's largest retail groups.

What you'll be doing

Lead the annual remuneration review process, including salary range design, compensation system updates and executive review activities.
Oversee the end-to-end bonus calculation process, ensuring accuracy, governance and alignment with business requirements.
Provide expert remuneration and benefits advice to People & Capability Business Partners and business leaders.
Manage job evaluations using the Mercer IPE methodology.
Analyse market remuneration data and salary surveys to develop informed recommendations that support attraction and retention outcomes.




Lead the delivery of the Wesfarmers Employee Share Acquisition Plan (WESAP), including annual system updates, data submissions, reporting and analysis.
Partner with Payroll, Finance, Technology and broader People & Capability teams to deliver cyclical remuneration activities.
Lead complex remuneration projects, engaging and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders across the business.
Ensure remuneration frameworks, processes and programs are delivered accurately, on time and in line with governance requirements.
Coach and support team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and accountability.

To be successful in this role you'll have:

3-5 years' experience operating at a Manager level within Remuneration, Rewards, Compensation discipline, with demonstrated ownership of remuneration programs and advisory activities.
Proven experience managing large-scale remuneration review cycles, bonus programs and reward initiatives in a complex organisation.
Strong expertise in job evaluation, ideally with Mercer IPE certification or equivalent experience.
Advanced analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into practical recommendations.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the organisation.
Experience leading projects involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and tight deadlines.
A sound understanding of remuneration principles,



market benchmarking and reward governance practices.
Experience working with HR systems, with SuccessFactors highly regarded.
A customer-focused approach, strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
