Make a genuine difference in the lives of people living with disability.Harmony Living Community Services is seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Workers to join our growing team across the Sydney metropolitan area.We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting others to live independently, achieve their goals, and enjoy meaningful community participation.
Previous experience in the disability sector is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.About the RoleAs a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support tailored to each participant's individual needs.
Your responsibilities may include:Assisting with personal care and daily living activities where required.Supporting participants with community access, including shopping, appointments, movies, beach walks, concerts, and other social outings.Encouraging independence while promoting choice, dignity, and inclusion.Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating effectively with participants, families, and the wider support team.Providing a safe, respectful, and positive environment for participants at all times.Shifts AvailableMorning shiftsAfternoon and evening shiftsOvernight (sleepover and active overnight) shiftsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will:Be approximately ***** years of age (preferred).
Have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.Be compassionate, patient,
