This 165 bed emergency department is equipped to handle a wide range of medical emergencies, including trauma, acute illness and critical care. it provides timely assessment and intervention to stabilize patients in urgent situations
The department is committed to delivering culturally appropriate care, recognising and respecting the diverse backgrounds of its patients, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, which informs the way healthcare is provided
Working closely with other departments within the hospital and external services, the emergency team ensure effective communication and resource allocation to manage patient flow and enhance care continuity. This particulary applies when the patient requires follow-up treatment or specialised services

Locum Emergency Medicine Consultant required at a Central Northern Territory Hospital from 05/10/2026 to 11/10/2026.

Week of 5/10/2026 for 4-5 shifts. On-call rate is $30 per hour. Reimbursement of economy air fares within Australia. Accommodation and car hire provided by the Hospital.
