Field Service/workshop Plant Mechanic EWPOutrite Hire and Sales – Eastern Creek NSWOutrite Hire and Sales is seeking a Full-time Field Plant Mechanic EWP And a Workshop mechanic to join our team in Eastern Creek, NSW.
In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs) and other plant and equipment.
This is a hands-on, field-based position that will see you travelling to customer sites to provide essential maintenance services.What you'll be doingCarrying out routine servicing and maintenance of EWPs and other plant equipmentDiagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on EWPs and other plantResponding to callouts to customer sites to address equipment breakdownsMaintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work completedEnsuring all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and proceduresProviding feedback on equipment performance and recommending improvementsWhat we're looking forQualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related tradeMinimum 2 years' experience as a Field Plant Mechanic or similar roleDemonstrated expertise in the maintenance and repair of EWPs and other plant equipmentStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsCommitment to safety and a proven ability to work autonomouslyExcellent communication skills and customer service orientationCurrent driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sitesWhat we offerAt Outrite Hire and Sales, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
