The Technology Delivery Lead is responsible for taking Focus Partners Australia's (FPA) technology and business projects from plan to landed outcome.
This is an autonomous hands-on delivery role.
This role is accountable for establishing a lean project management discipline and run projects properly with a clear plan, defined ownership, sensible governance and adoption built in from day one.
Implementing structure so that our initiatives deliver real value rather than stalling after go-live.With a significant pipeline of work to deliver across the Accounting, Credit and Wealth service lines, the role will support projects across all three.
Critically this role blends delivery leadership with business analysis.
You will both shape requirements and drive delivery, working closely with the Head of Technology and Data, internal and external stakeholders.The role owns the delivery discipline that makes projects succeed, and partners closely with Operations on change and adoption.Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 monthsKey Responsibilities:Own the end-to-end delivery of assigned technology, data and AI projects across the Accounting, Credit and Wealth service lines, from planning through to a landed, adopted outcomeBuild and maintain clear, practical project plans with milestones, owners, dependencies and delivery dates,Run a consistent delivery rhythm, including working sessions, status updates, risk management and stakeholder reportingApply lean, fit for purpose governance rather than heavy process, in line with agreed minimum standards (clear owner, plan, dependencies, RACI, and a way to track whether it is landing)Business analysis and requirementsCapture and document business requirements by working directly with teams across the service lines, including advisers, client services, operations and support functionsMap current state and future state processes, identify pain points and pinpoint the specific opportunities to improve, automate or simplifyTranslate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for internal and vendor buildDelivery governance and controlsOwn the project artefacts that keep delivery on track: RAID log, decision log, action tracker, dependencies and status reportingPlan and coordinate UAT, including test planning, coordination of testers,



defect tracking and sign offTrack benefits and outcomes so we can show the value each initiative deliversMaintain a transparent view of the project roadmap and dependencies across the portfolioVendor and partner coordinationCoordinate specialist delivery partners through their scope of work, holding them to agreed deliverables, timelines and qualitySupport statement of work definition, review of deliverables and vendor delivery governanceStakeholder engagement and adoptionBuild strong working relationships across the service lines and keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout deliveryPartner with Operations on change management, team messaging and adoption, supporting the change lead rather than owning the people impactSupport training and adoption activities so solutions are used and value is realised, not just deliveredQualifications and Experience:Minimum 8+ years in a delivery, project management or hybrid BA and delivery role, ideally within financial services, wealth or professional servicesDemonstrable experience delivering technology or process projects end to end, from requirements through to adoptionStrong business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping and UAT coordinationExperience coordinating external delivery partners and vendors against a scope of workExperience with delivery tooling and artefacts (project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, status reporting)Exposure to advice, accounting or credit processes and related platforms is a strong advantageRelevant certifications (for example PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or CBAP) are desirable but practical delivery track record matters mostSkills and Attributes:A doer who takes ownership and lands outcomes, not just someone who documents and hands offStrong stakeholder engagement skills, able to build relationships,
