We'll provide the product training, technical support and mentoring to help you become one.About the RoleReporting to the Head of Sales & Projects, you will develop into a technical specialist for our High Voltage Surge Arrester portfolio, covering applications from 11 kV to 500 kV.This is primarily an office-based engineering role combining technical support, estimating, product management and customer engagement.You'll work as part of a supportive team and collaborate with electricity utilities, consultants, contractors and international manufacturing partners across Australia and New Zealand.Your role will include understanding customer requirements, selecting appropriate products, preparing quotations and technical submissions, and supporting projects from initial enquiry through to supply.What You'll Be DoingPrepare technical quotations and commercial proposals.Assist with the selection and specification of surge arresters from 11 kV to 500 kV.Review electrical specifications,



drawings and customer requirements.Provide technical and product support to customers and our sales team.Assist with major infrastructure tenders and project submissions.Work with international manufacturing partners on technical requirements.Maintain product pricing, technical documentation and product information.Assist with customer presentations and technical training.Develop your knowledge of high voltage power systems and surge protection.Support the continued development of our High Voltage product portfolio.About YouWe're looking for someone who is curious, organised and keen to develop their technical knowledge.You don't need to tick every box to be considered.Ideally, you'll have:A degree in Electrical Engineering, or be nearing completion.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail and an organised approach to your work.An ability to interpret technical information and specifications.Confidence working with customers and colleagues.A willingness to ask questions, learn and develop.Previous high voltage or surge arrester experience is not required.
