For over 20 years, we have proudly manufactured our caravans in Albury, building a strong reputation for quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.Our caravans are manufactured in-house from raw materials using advanced equipment and processes, including laser cutting, CNC pressing, router cutting and robotic welding.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer / Draftsperson with a thorough understanding and competency of SolidWorks to join our team.Working closely with the production team, you will create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models to support the design, manufacture and assembly of our off-road caravans.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop accurate 3D models and detailed 2D drawings using SolidWorks.Interpret sketches, specifications and technical information to produce explicit, practical manufacturing drawings for the production team.Create and maintain accurate bills of materials (BOMs).




Program a variety of CNC machinery.Maintain drawing registers, manage revisions and ensure effective document control.Review drawings thoroughly to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.Support quality assurance processes by providing accurate and up-to-date documentation.Skills and ExperienceA minimum of three years' drafting experience using SolidWorks.Strong CAD drafting and technical drawing skills.Experience creating manufacturing drawings and bills of materials.Excellent attention to detail and a practical understanding of manufacturing processes.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.A motivated, proactive approach and the ability to see tasks through to completion.A reliable, honest and ethical approach to your work.Join Our TeamMTRV is excited about the future, and we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to join our team and contribute to the continued growth of our business.To apply, click Quick Apply and include a cover letter and your current résumé.
