you'll be part of a collaborative and welcoming team committed to continuous improvement and making a positive difference in the local community.About the RoleThis casual role offers a variety of nursing duties and may also include reception responsibilities for the right candidate.As a Veterinary Nurse, your responsibilities may include:Assisting veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and proceduresSurgical preparation and theatre assistanceMonitoring anaesthesia and supporting post-operative recoveryAdministering medications and treatmentsCollecting samples and performing diagnostic testingProviding nursing care for hospitalised patientsMaintaining patient records and treatment plansSupporting emergency and urgent care cases when requiredMaintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection controlProviding exceptional client communication and educationFor nurses interested in reception work, responsibilities may also include:Greeting clients and patients on arrivalManaging appointments and bookingsAnswering phone calls and client enquiriesProcessing payments and managing accountsSupporting the day-to-day administration of the clinicNo two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and being part of a busy, supportive team.About YouWe're looking for someone who:Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)Has previous clinical veterinary nursing experienceIs confident with both medical and surgical nursing dutiesHas strong communication and customer service abilitiesEnjoys working both independently and as part of a teamIs organised, reliable, and professionalBrings a positive, team-focused attitudeIs passionate about patient care and client experiencePrevious reception experience is highly regarded but not essential.Why Join Greencross?
