About the role

This full-time Experienced Farm Hand position at Clear Mountain Fairview in Greenmount, QLD 4359, will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our diverse farm. As an integral member of our close-knit team, you will contribute to the ongoing success and growth of our business.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting with a wide range of general farm duties, including animal care, crop maintenance, fencing, and equipment operation and maintenance
- Participating in the planting of crops
- Maintaining high standards of animal welfare and biosecurity procedures
- Collaborating with the farm management team to identify and implement process improvements
- Adhering to all relevant workplace health and safety regulations
- Proactively identifying and addressing any issues that may arise on the farm ie. fences, water troughs, feeders, etc

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a farm hand (minimum 2 years) or in a similar agricultural role,



preferably within the livestock or crop industries
- Strong practical skills and the ability to operate farm machinery and equipment
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and maintenance
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others
- A valid driver's licence and the willingness to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions
- A passion for sustainable agriculture and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of our farming operations
- Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Australian citizenship is required for this position
