Are you an experienced Clinical Nurse with a passion for mental health? We're seeking a dedicated clinician for a rewarding rural and remote contract supporting communities across the Mackay Hinterland. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team while making a genuine impact in regional Queensland.
Applicants have the flexibility to be based in Moranbah or Mackay, with outreach to the Hinterland as required. About the Role As a Clinical Nurse, you'll provide specialist mental health assessment, case management and therapeutic interventions across a diverse range of services, including: Adult Mental Health Child & Youth Mental Health Acute Care Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Services You'll work collaboratively with consumers, families and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, recovery focused care across rural communities.
Essential Requirements Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Demonstrated mental health case management experience Competent in performing ECGsCurrent Basic Life Support Ability to meet all mandatory Queensland Health compliance requirements Highly DesirableAOD case management experience Experience working with children and adolescents Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2016Experience using CIMHA, ieMR and ATODS-ISPrevious Queensland Health or Australian mental health experience What's on Offer?
