At The Village GP Black Rock we take all of those things for granted.

We are a GP owned clinic which opened in late 2019 and have gone from strength to strength despite the events of the last 3 years. Our Practice Manager is the co-owner, so he is committed, and we have a low turnover of staff.



Our nurse is a career GP nurse and immunisation provider who loves chronic disease management and is a stickler for detail and follow up. The patients are generally well-educated and interested in their health, have lots of questions and are very loyal when treated well. Not only that, they are happy to pay their private fees.

Our Principal GP has 30 minute standard appointments, but we support you to run your clinic how you like. The time-based fee structure ensures that you are not getting paid the same amount for a 35 minute appointment as a 20 minute appointment. We love to support our tenant GPs in their special interests and have helped one to transition to Lifestyle Medicine, including creating websites, webinars and marketing materials. We have fortnightly doctor meetings to discuss recent guidelines and specific cases and quarterly clinic-wide meetings. We involve ourselves in research trials and would love to teach in the future.
