Airswift is seeking experienced E&I; Commissioning Technicians to join a major gold mining operation in Western Australia. We are recruiting three technicians to support the commissioning and ramp-up of a significant mill expansion project at one of the state's premier mining sites. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a high-profile processing plant upgrade, working alongside commissioning, operations, and maintenance teams during a critical project phase. Position Details Role: E&I; Commissioning Technician Number of Vacancies: 3 Location: Kalgoorlie, WA (FIFO) Roster: 2 Weeks On / 1 Week Off Duration: Approximately 5-6 months Pay Rate: $98.02/hour casual flat rate Project Overview The project involves a major mill expansion aimed at increasing plant throughput and processing capacity. The commissioning phase is currently progressing to schedule, with ongoing plant integration, testing, optimisation, and operational handover activities. Advanced Automation: Oversee the deployment of online elemental analyzers and automated particle-size monitors. Metallurgical Optimization: Run real-time diagnostic testing on mineral recovery rates during the initial ore-feed ramp-up. Safety & Isolation: Author and execute complex Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures across intersecting recent and live plant boundaries. Operational Handover: Draft standard operating procedures (SOPs)
and train standard plant operators on new technical assets. Essential Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must hold: WA Electrical Licence (front and back copy) Certificate IV in Instrumentation EEHA Certificate Current Driver's Licence (front and back copy) Current LVR/CPR Certificate (issued within the last 12 months) Current First Aid Certificate (within the last 3 years) National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months) Full Medical completed within the last 6 months, including LABDAS (28-day report) Please note: Medical compliance requirements are strictly enforced by the client.
