About the role

Crows Nest Dentists is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team, 2–3 days per week (casual or permanent part-time available). This role is primarily chairside, but you'll also be relied on for reception duties from time to time — including the occasional full day on the front desk — so we're after someone who's either already confident with reception work or keen to learn it.

Key responsibilities

- Chairside assisting across general and preventive dentistry

- Infection control, sterilisation, and surgery set-up/pack-down

- Reception duties as needed: answering phones, responding to SMS and email enquiries, and booking and managing appointments using Principle software

- Weekly cleaning of surgery

About you

- Cert III in Dental Assisting (preferred)

- Cert IV highly regarded





- Confidence with reception tasks, or a genuine willingness to learn them

- Experience with Principle dental software is a bonus, but not essential — training provided

- A team player with strong communication skills and a warm, professional manner with patients

- Reliable availability for the rostered 2–3 days per week
