Temporary (full time) appointment commencing ASAP until 13 October 2028 with the possibility of permanency in the future.
About the role
Manages the development and delivery of training programs and services in the Health & Care Services Portfolio. Undertakes business development, identifies new opportunities and builds robust and effective relationships with stakeholders to meet their diverse training needs. Contributes to College strategic and business plans, supports the College’s values, and promotes a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Manages human, physical and financial resources relevant to the Portfolio.
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced leader with a track record of building and leading teams to deliver quality training in line with the Standards for RTOs. You will bring strong industry and community relationships, a commercial and innovative outlook, high-level communication and negotiation skills, and demonstrated experience managing financial, human and physical resources. Experience in vocational education and training or academic leadership, and a relevant management or VET qualification, are desirable. The Portfolio spans nursing and health, aged care, disability, community services, early childhood education, and hair and beauty delivery across the Mid-West, Gascoyne, Wheatbelt and Goldfields, so you will be comfortable working across campuses and leading a geographically dispersed team.

To be considered eligible for employment, you must possess current and valid Australian work rights, such as Australian citizenship, permanent residency or an appropriate working visa. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
You must also hold,
or have the ability to obtain, a Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and a Working with Children (WWC) Card. Appointment will be subject to the satisfactory completion of any mandatory pre-employment screening requirements.
