About the role

Kenilworth Dairies is seeking a Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our team. This position is based in Kenilworth, QLD 4574 and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality kitchen environment. As a Cook/Kitchen Hand, you will be integral to maintaining our high standards of food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and customer satisfaction. This role is perfect for individuals who are flexible, reliable, and passionate about delivering quality food service in a dynamic setting.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and presentation standards

- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure all food preparation areas are clean and hygienic at all times

- Assist in food storage and inventory management, following proper food safety protocols

- Handle and store ingredients correctly to maintain food quality and safety standards

- Contribute to a positive team environment and communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff

- Monitor and maintain correct temperatures for food storage and cooking

- Assist with dishwashing and kitchen sanitation duties as required

What we're looking for

- Previous experience working in a kitchen workplace or hospitality setting is preferred

- Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods in a warm kitchen environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Reliability and punctuality,



with flexibility to work shifts as required

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- A willingness to learn and develop new culinary skills

- Relevant food handling or hospitality qualifications are advantageous
