A well-established financial services organisation is seeking a confident and customer-focused Customer Accounts & Administration Officer to join their Southport team.

This is a varied role combining customer service, account administration and soft collections. You’ll assist customers with their loan accounts, manage payment arrangements and help resolve overdue accounts through professional, empathetic and appropriately assertive conversations.

The Role

- Manage customer enquiries via phone, email and client portal
- Assist customers with loan and account enquiries
- Process payment changes and maintain accurate account records
- Follow up overdue accounts and agreed payment arrangements
- Have professional soft-collections conversations with customers
- Update customer information and notes within the CRM
- Assist with general account and administration duties
- Work towards individual and team performance targets





About You We’re looking for someone who is confident on the phone, organised and comfortable having sometimes challenging customer conversations.
You will ideally have:

- Experience in customer service, accounts, administration or collections
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A professional, empathetic and appropriately assertive approach
- Excellent attention to detail and good numerical skills
- Confidence working in a busy, customer-focused environment
- Robust computer skills and the ability to learn new systems

- Salary of $62,500 plus Super plus commission plus car park
