Gorilla Jobs is seeking ED SRMOs and Registrars for locum opportunities across NSW, with roles available in metro, regional and rural hospitals.

Clinical Environment
You will work across a mix of NSW Emergency Department settings, with opportunities available in metro, regional and rural hospitals.
- Broad ED exposure – gain experience across different case mixes, patient presentations and hospital environments

- Repeat placements – return to sites you enjoy and build familiarity with local teams

Patient Demographic
You will support a broad Emergency Department patient mix, including adults, older patients, families, acute presentations, minor injuries, trauma, medical presentations and patients requiring assessment, stabilisation and escalation of care.

- Northern NSW
- Murrumbidgee
- Western NSW
- Southern NSW
- Nepean Blue Mountains
- Far West

Key Duties
- Assess and manage ED presentations
- Support patient flow and treatment planning
- Assist with acute care, resus and procedural work within scope
- Complete clinical documentation and handover
- Escalate clinical concerns appropriately
- Work collaboratively with nursing, registrar and senior medical teams
Requirements
- AHPRA General Registration
- Recent ED or acute care experience at SRMO or Registrar level
- ALS preferred for many roles
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete NSW Health credentialing and compliance

Location
NSW offers a wide range of locum options, from metro hospitals close to home to regional and rural blocks that offer a change of pace, solid clinical variety and the chance to work with different communities.
Referral Program
Also, if locum work isn’t for you at the moment but you know another doctor who may be interested, we do have a referral program. Successful referrals can receive a $1,100 prepaid gift card for non-specialist doctors, or $1,600 for specialist/consultant referrals, once the referred doctor has completed the required shifts.
