About the role

We are an essential manufacturer of steel components in the Coburg area, Melbourne. Our products are manufactured to the highest quality standards and are used in industries including construction, mining, agricultural, defence and major infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

- Assembly and preparation of industrial products and components

- Operation of testing equipment and recording test results

- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders

- Loading and unloading materials using a forklift

- Inventory control, stock handling and stocktakes

- General warehouse organisation and housekeeping

About you

- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools

- Ability to follow work instructions and quality procedures

- Solid attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work

- Reliable transport and an excellent attendance record

- Forklift licence preferred

- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehousing or testing environments advantageous
