Your Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Administrator to join a reputable organisation within the education sector on a temporary part-time basis.
This role offers an immediate start, working 8:00am – 4:00pm, with on-site parking provided. The assignment will run 5 days per week until the 2nd of October and then reduce to 3 days per week until the 18th of December 2026.
This position would suit a highly organised, tech-confident HR administrator who is comfortable working across HR systems, particularly Synergetic, and can quickly adapt in a busy environment.
Your Role
Working closely with the Head of People & Culture, you will support the smooth delivery of HR operations by ensuring employee records, systems and processes are accurate, compliant and up to date. The role also provides exposure to a variety of HR initiatives, with scope to independently manage smaller pieces of work.
Key Duties
- Support the delivery of HR activities through effective administrative coordination
- Prepare and process employment-related documentation for new and existing staff
- Manage and update employee, contractor and volunteer information within Synergetic
- Ensure personnel files meet compliance and record-keeping requirements
- Track and manage Working With Children Check documentation
- Assist with onboarding and separation processes
- Provide first-level support for routine HR queries
- Contribute to HR initiatives and process improvements as required
About You
- Previous experience in an HR administration or HR support role within a school will be highly regarded
- Strong confidence using HR systems (experience with Synergetic will be highly advantageous)
- Exposure to compliance, onboarding, training coordination and WHS administration
- Excellent organisational skills with robust attention to detail
- Comfortable working with technology and digital record management
- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work independently
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Available for an immediate start
- You will be required to obtain a current valid WWCC for this role.
