We are currently seeking a Full-Time Chef to join our kitchen team and contribute to the daily operation and continued development of our menu.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to menu standards and specifications.

- Complete daily food preparation and mise en place before service.

- Maintain consistency in food quality, flavour, portion sizes, and presentation.

- Assist with seasonal menu development and daily specials.

- Coordinate kitchen preparation and service to ensure smooth operations.

- Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, providing training and guidance where required.

- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, receiving, storage, and stock rotation.

- Minimise food waste while maintaining effective portion and cost control.





- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and WHS compliance.

- Assist with private functions, special events, kitchen opening and closing procedures as required.

Qualifications and Experience

- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.

- Minimum 1 year experience in a professional commercial kitchen.

- Knowledge of modern cuisine, seasonal cooking, and food presentation.

- Understanding of food safety and WHS requirements.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as rostered.
