About the role

Hair Colosseum is seeking talented Senior and Junior Hairstylists to join our growing team on a full-time & Part-Time basis in Bankstown, NSW 2200. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a professional salon environment where creativity and technical excellence are valued. Whether you are an experienced senior stylist looking to advance your career or a junior stylist eager to develop your skills, we have positions available to suit your experience level. You will be working in a supportive team environment, contributing to our reputation for delivering outstanding hairstyling services to our diverse clientele.

Key responsibilities

- Provide professional hairstyling services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to client needs and preferences

- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and provide expert recommendations based on face shape, hair type, and current trends

- Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and salon cleanliness at all times





- Use quality products and equipment professionally and safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations

- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat bookings and customer loyalty

- Stay up to date with current hairstyling trends, techniques, and industry best practices

- Manage appointment schedules efficiently and provide excellent customer service

- For Senior Hairstylists: Mentor and guide junior team members, demonstrating best practices and providing constructive feedback

- For Senior Hairstylists: Contribute to training and development initiatives within the salon

What we're looking for

- Valid hairdressing qualification or certification recognised in New South Wales

- For Senior Hairstylists: Minimum 5+ years' professional hairstyling experience in a salon environment

- For Junior Hairstylists: Completed hairdressing apprenticeship or equivalent training; willingness to learn and develop further skills

- Proficiency in a wide range of hairstyling techniques including cutting, colouring, perming, and styling

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team





- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results consistently

- Skilled appearance and demeanour that reflects our salon's brand values

- Knowledge of hair care products and the ability to provide product recommendations to clients

- For Senior Hairstylists: Proven ability to mentor others and contribute positively to team culture

- Flexibility with scheduling, including potential weekend and evening shifts

- Current First Aid certification is advantageous
