The Opportunity
The Office of the Provost and Senior Vice-President has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly organised Executive Assistant.
The Executive Assistant provides a range of executive secretarial, administrative and office management services to the Provost and Senior Vice-President, the Office of the Provost and Senior Vice-President and other senior managers and colleagues.
This is a trusted role for a proactive Executive Assistant who can anticipate needs, exercise sound judgement and ensure the Office operates efficiently and professionally. As the successful candidate, you will manage communication and workflows, prepare and edit briefing papers, presentations, and official correspondence, and oversee calendar, travel and meeting logistics.
You will also apply organisational policy and coordinate key events, including workshops and conferences. Additionally, you will act as a vital conduit between senior managers and diverse stakeholders, colleagues and clients. You will confidently handle complex matters by sharing information, delegating tasks and escalating issues as appropriate.
The ideal candidate will bring a robust educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
