Stellar Recruitment is partnering with a leading WA gold producer to recruit experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join their underground maintenance teams across established mining operations.

These positions offer a lifestyle-friendly 8:6 / 7:7 rotating roster, providing a great balance between time on site and time at home, while offering the stability and career opportunities that come with working across a well-established mining operation.

Working as part of the underground mobile maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for keeping a diverse underground fleet operating safely and reliably.

Daily Duties:

- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance
- Complete diagnostics and breakdown repairs
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Work safely and effectively within established site procedures
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with supervisors
- You will be required to work in a workshop and/or field environment.

We're looking for HD Fitters with:

- Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter
- Minimum 2 years' experience in mining
- Experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment
- Robust diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience on CAT, Komatsu, Sandvik, Volvo, Epiroc or similar mining equipment
- Experience with breakdowns, component change-outs and rebuilds
- Current C Class Driver's Licence

You'll also need:

- Current Australian work rights
- National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
- Pre-employment medical (within 12 months), or willingness to complete one

- Salary between $160,000-$215,000 + super (depending on experience and roster)
- Short Term Incentive Bonus of up to 15% of base salary, paid twice yearly
- Additional site, health & wellbeing, and commuting allowances
