Milestone IT is partnering with a leading healthcare organisation to recruit an experienced Cerner CCL Analyst to join their technology team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Cerner specialist to contribute to the ongoing development, enhancement and support of a critical clinical technology environment. You will work closely with clinical, business and technical stakeholders to deliver solutions that support healthcare operations and improve the user experience.

About the Role

As a Cerner CCL Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing, developing, maintaining and supporting solutions within the Cerner environment, with a particular focus on CCL development and front-end functionality.

You will work across a range of enhancements, troubleshooting and development activities, translating business and clinical requirements into effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain and enhance solutions using Cerner Command Language (CCL).
- Analyse business and clinical requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Cerner environment.
- Support and enhance front-end functionality and clinical applications within Cerner.
- Develop and maintain CCL reports, queries, scripts and related technical components.
- Investigate and troubleshoot application and reporting issues, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Work closely with clinical users, business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective outcomes.
- Participate in application enhancements, upgrades, testing and implementation activities.
- Conduct technical analysis and contribute to solution design and documentation.
- Ensure solutions follow appropriate development,



security, testing and change management standards.
- Provide ongoing support and technical expertise across the Cerner environment.
- Collaborate with other application and integration teams where solutions cross multiple systems.

About You

You will be an experienced Cerner CCL Analyst/Developer with strong technical capability and an understanding of healthcare application environments.

Ideally, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience working with Oracle Health/Cerner environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL).
- Experience developing and supporting Cerner reports, queries and applications.
- Experience with front-end development or configuration within Cerner will be highly regarded.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Understanding of clinical or hospital information systems.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Experience working within structured ITIL, change management and release processes would be advantageous.
