Stafflink Workforce Management is a Queensland-based recruitment specialist providing temporary and permanent staffing solutions across a wide range of blue and white-collar industries.

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver / Yard Hand to join our client’s busy operation.

This is a full-time opportunity for someone who is physically fit, safety-focused and able to work independently. The successful candidate will initially commence through Stafflink Workforce Management, with the potential to transition to a permanent position directly with the client for the right person.

About the Role
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy yard and warehouse environment and is confident managing their workload with minimal supervision.

Hours:

- Early start at approximately 5:00am
- Finish around 2:30pm – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Overtime may be required from time to time

Key Responsibilities

- Unloading and checking incoming deliveries
- Safely loading and unloading trucks
- Wrapping completed jobs and preparing them for dispatch
- Moving stock and materials between two factory locations
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- General yard and warehouse duties
- Heavy lifting and manual handling
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment




- Working independently and managing daily tasks
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Assisting the team to meet deadlines and production requirements

What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will have:

- Current Forklift Licence – essential
- Current Manual Driver’s Licence – essential
- Previous forklift, yard or warehouse experience
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding work
- Ability to work independently and self-manage
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Valuable communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime when required
