The Opportunity
We are seeking a computer science graduate or postgraduate student to visit once a week (days will alternate around University timetable) for 3 hours to teach and mentor our Year 9 Students in an extension Digital Technologies course.
This casual position will develop supportive curriculum materials to help students advanced concepts in robotics, electronics and coding.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineerin
- Previous experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or facilitating STEM learning activities
- Demonstrated practical experience with robotics, computer aided design, programming and electronics
- Good communication and teaching skills
- Available for one session per week
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
