Accounts Receivable Officer

- Immediate-start 3 month temporary assignment
- Support the team during a busy period and help work through an existing backlog
- Problem-solving AR support role, not just data entry
- Onsite position based in Blacktown area

About the company

An established Australian business with a busy head-office finance function. The company operates in a practical, fast-moving environment and is seeking temporary support to help the accounts receivable team manage a significant invoicing workload.

About the role

This 3 month assignment will focus on reviewing a backlog of invoices. You will assess whether each item is ready to process or requires further information from operations, then follow issues through so the workload continues moving.

Duties

- Review invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Process invoices that are ready for submission
- Identify missing information and investigate discrepancies
- Return incomplete items to operations with explicit actions
- Maintain accurate records and support related AR administration

Skills & experience





- Previous accounts receivable, invoicing or accounts support experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and work with limited supervision
- Confidence liaising with internal operational teams
- Business Central, Dynamics or similar ERP experience preferred
