NW Mining & Civil are seeking several experienced MC Road Train Drivers with a Dangerous Goods licence to join our client’s team, hauling between Mount Isa and a remote NT mine site.

You will be driving quad container road trains, sleeping in your truck each night and responsible for your own meals. You should be self-sufficient and protected, with previous experience in a similar role.

Applicants should be mechanically minded and fit & capable of changing your own tyres on the road if necessary.

Roster will be 2 weeks on, 1 week off, doing 12hr day shifts.

Local Cloncurry or Mt Isa applicants are preferred, but flights are available from Brisbane or Townsville. Travel time is unpaid.

Pay rate is from $65/hr flat rate,



plus a $50/day meal/truck allowance. These roles will start off as casual with NW Mining & Civil, those who excel may be offered a permanent position with our client, a leader in the road transport industry.

Please ensure you meet the following mandatory criteria before applying:

- MC licence
- Dangerous goods licence
- 2+ years of quad experience driving road rangers
- Current Commercial Driver Medical (or the ability to pass one)
- Sound 5 year traffic history
- Provide a ‘clear’ national police check
- Fatigue management cert an advantage
- Reside in Brisbane or Townsville within 200km of the airport
