About the Role
Aerie Stays is seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeping or Senior Housekeeper with leadership experience to join our accommodation operations team.
This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in the accommodation, hospitality, or cleaning industry who is passionate about maintaining high standards.
Management will consider the level of experience and supervisory experience for the pay grade.
This is a part-time role with immediate start, morning start around 9am, offering approximately 30 hours per week, with the opportunity for a full-time position depending on performance and level of experience.
Materials and equipment are supplied and storage is located within metres of the apartments and buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and resetting serviced apartments between guest stays
- Vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting surfaces, and cleaning mirrors
- Thorough bathroom cleaning (toilets, sinks, showers)
- Kitchen cleaning including benches, appliances, and sinks
- Linen changes and general presentation of apartments to a high standard
- Waste removal and disposal in designated areas
Requirements
- At least 1 year housekeeping or cleaning experience required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standard
- Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of cleaning duties
- Availability during weekdays and occasional weekends (flexible and short hours)
- Valid Australian driver's licence holder is a plus
