Perth-based property development company seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team.

Tasks and duties - to provide day-to-day support to the Accounts Team by assisting in:

- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on a timely basis.

- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and financial reporting.

- Process monthly account reconciliations across multiple entities within the group.

- Allocate and monitor costs across projects, departments, and entities to ensure accurate financial reporting.

- Assist with project accounting activities, including budgeting, cost tracking, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.

- Support taxation and compliance requirements, including BAS, PAYG, superannuation, and audit processes.

- Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial analysis for internal stakeholders.

- Work closely with project managers and other departments to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.





- Support the preparation and management of annual budgets across multiple group entities.

- Report directly to the Finance Director and provide regular updates on financial performance, project costs, and compliance matters.

About you:

- Prior experience in property development, construction, or a related project-based industry highly regarded

- Robust technical knowledge of tax, GST, and payroll compliance

- Excellent communication skills — you'll be working directly with the family owners, consultants, and external stakeholders

- High level of discretion and trustworthiness, given the close-knit nature of the business

- Experienced in account payable management and processing

- Proven end-to-end ownership of month-end close and reporting across multiple entities.

- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
