About the role

- $205,956.76 based on 1.0 FTE + super + ability to salary package up to $15,900 tax free for living expenses under the RACGP’s health promotion charity status
- Part Time (0.2 – 0.4FTE), $82,382.70 base + super. Permanent opportunity, located anywhere in Australia

As our GP Medical Educator – Assessment, you’ll support the development, review and quality assurance of RACGP assessments. Reporting to the National Assessment Advisor, you’ll collaborate closely with the National Clinical Lead – Assessment, medical educators, and RACGP Fellows nationwide to ensure assessment content is current, evidence-based and aligned with RACGP standards.

As our GP Medical Educator- Assessment, you'll also:

- Develop, review and quality assure RACGP assessments in line with exam blueprints and educational standards, including pre- and post-exam resources.
- Maintain and improve the assessment item bank, ensuring consistency, relevance, and accuracy through ongoing content review and version control.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Fellows, assessment item writers, reviewers, and national leads, to support ongoing assessment development and delivery.
- Support evaluation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience





- Current Fellowship with the RACGP and currently working in active clinical general practice
- Current financial member of the RACGP
- Experience in developing and reviewing assessments and educational content within a general practice or medical education setting
- Robust analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Understanding of RACGP assessment processes and a high level of attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy across all assessment content
