We are looking for an experienced kitchen hand to support our centre chef to meet the needs of a 141 place service. The position is Monday- Friday and we expect the shift hours to suit the centre needs, 8.30 am - 4.45pm. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and reliable. The successful applicant will be someone who works well as part of a team and is confident in taking on additional responsibility when required.

You must be able to:

- Assist in food preparation

- Wash dishes and maintain a clean kitchen that is safe and organised





- Support unpacking food and stock deliveries

- Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic

- Support the service by supporting with laundry needs

- Hold a Current Victorian Working with children check (employee)

It would be advantageous to:

• Hold Basic Food Handlers and Food Supervisor or approved equivalent by the National Authority
• Hold an Approved First Aid qualification, anaphylaxis and asthma management
