Dental United Group - Newcastle

When equipment breaks down in a dental practice, getting it back up and running quickly matters.

As our Support/Repairs Coordinator, you’ll take ownership of our reactive repairs and breakdowns, coordinating each job from the initial customer enquiry right through to completion and invoicing.

You’ll work closely with our customers, field technicians and workshop team to make sure the right technician is assigned, the required parts are available and jobs continue moving.

You’ll also help manage our busy workshop, coordinate parts and warranties, prepare and follow up quotes, arrange subcontractors and make sure our technicians’ schedules are being used effectively.

This is a busy, hands-on coordination role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll need to be comfortable juggling priorities, solving problems and responding when an urgent breakdown changes the plan.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Coordinating reactive repairs and breakdowns from booking through to invoicing

- Scheduling technicians and managing workshop workloads

- Liaising with customers and keeping them updated throughout their repair

- Preparing, pricing and following up quotes

- Coordinating parts and procurement for repair jobs

- Managing warranty enquiries, claims and documentation

- Coordinating subcontractors and third-party repairs

- Following up outstanding job information and ensuring completed jobs are ready for invoicing

- Helping keep technician schedules productive and jobs progressing

- Building strong relationships with our customers and providing a high level of service

What we’re looking for

You’ll be organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities in a busy service workplace.

Previous experience within the dental industry would be advantageous, but isn’t essential. Experience using SimPRO or a similar job management system would also be a great advantage.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with strong customer service and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to keep jobs moving from start to finish.

You’ll be joining an experienced and supportive team in our Newcastle office, backed by the wider Dental United Group team.

You bring the organisation and customer service. We’ll teach you the rest.

Send your resume to Emma Palmer at ••••@dentalunitedgroup.com.au
