About the role

This is a hands-on role involving mobile crane operations, dogging, crane mobilisation and transport across projects throughout the Greater Sydney region. The successful applicant will also be required to undertake interstate driving, including occasional overnight trips, and be available for weekend and night-shift work.

Key responsibilities

- Drive Prime Movers and transport mobile cranes and associated equipment to and from work sites.
- Dog and assist with the safe setup and operation of mobile cranes.
- Carry out pre-start, compliance and safety checks on vehicles and plant.
- Work in accordance with approved Lift Plans and site requirements.
- Identify and report any faults, damage or safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with crane setup, pack-up and mobilisation.
- Maintain vehicles, plant and equipment in a clean and presentable condition.
- Communicate effectively with Managers, team members, clients and site personnel.
- Work safely and efficiently both independently and as part of a small team.
- Comply with all company, workplace and site safety procedures.

About you





- Current and unrestricted HC Driver Licence
- Minimum 12 months experience operating HC combinations
- Willingness to undertake interstate travel, weekend and night-shift work when required
- Demonstrated experience with heavy vehicle pre-starts, load restraint and coupling/uncoupling
- Strong understanding of NSW heavy vehicle road rules and fatigue management
- Positive driving record
- Construction Industry White Card
- High Risk Work Licence – Dogman (DG)
- Experience in dogging and mobile crane operations
- Excellent verbal communication skills
