Champion the product vision by providing direction and support to the Agile development team and work closely with stakeholders from across the business to ensure the stability, compliance and success of proposed product solutions.

Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design, implement and report on the creation of new solutions and improvements to the existing platforms. Ensure optimal and timely delivery of prioritised initiatives/changes in conjunction with Technology and Business Stakeholders.

Position Accountabilities

The key position requirements are:

Work within an agile environment; attend daily stand-ups, iteration/sprint testing, sprint planning and retrospectives.

- Identify areas for improvement or optimisation, solve product-related problems, make decisions to stay on track towards business deliverables commitments;
- Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies;
- Work closely with other Product Owners to ensure the shared customer experience vision is maintained, channel performance and satisfaction is continually monitored, and that customer experience is kept at the forefront of all decisions;
- Collaborate effectively with Digital teams to ensure a high level of communication, consultation and testing on any effecting changes;
- Represent business stakeholders in maintaining system functionality and business logic;
- Ensure customer, business or compliance affecting bugs are addressed and escalated as appropriate;

Assist in management of work for the development team:

- Work with Business Analysts, SMEs and the development and testing teams to create clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria;
- Own, refine, and prioritise the product backlog;
- Ensure the development team understand the product backlog and business value to successfully deliver each sprint / initiative / change;
- Ensure the Business Area Representative sponsoring the changes delivered through the Agile Team has provided the appropriate business, legal, compliance and underwriting signoff;
- Inspire and motivate development teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency, whilst ensuring they are informed on the impact of their work on the business;




- Work with the Development Manager to manage workloads and escalate potential issues to the Manager Home Delivery;
- Collaborate with Technology and Business to ensure a high level of communication and understanding, and to ensure questions or concerns are addressed in a timely manner; o Manage risks, issues and dependencies between backlog items and multiple stakeholders;
- Work with the testing team to ensure appropriate testing is performed on all releases;

Manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners and stakeholders for a product(s).

- Receive, evaluate, and schedule work for your Agile team;
- Attend and participate in monthly stakeholder engagement sessions;
- Provide prioritisation and resourcing suggestions when required;
- Work closely with the business and technical stakeholders to ensure product requirements are delivered in line with business expectations;

Take all reasonable directions from leaders to comply with the organisation’s workplace health & safety (WHS) protocols. WHS is everyone’s responsibility

What experience you’ll bring (Qualifications and Experience)

Essential:

- Minimum 2 years of experience working in Agile Methodologies
- Minimum 2 years of Business Analysis experience or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated project, time and prioritisation management skills essential
- Experience leading teams in either a business or project context
- Experience in stakeholder engagement & management
- Knowledge or experience in General Insurance or Financial Services highly regarded
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or certifications
