My client is a well-established business based in Surry Hills with a close-knit team. They are looking for an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join on a part-time basis.

The Role

A Part-Time Accountant/Bookkeeper opportunity, working 3 days per week, with responsibilities including:

- Invoicing and accounts receivable
- Payroll
- Preparation of monthly financial reports
- Bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping
- Ad hoc finance tasks

The role offers a long-term pathway to a permanent position, with the current incumbent planning to retire in approximately 2-3 years.

About You

- Previous Accountant or Bookkeeper experience
- Strong experience across invoicing, payroll and month-end reporting
- High attention to detail and robust organisational skills
- Comfortable working autonomously
- Looking for a part-time role with a long-term view
