Working closely with the Communications Program Manager, Civic Events Lead and stakeholders across Council, you'll work on end-to-end delivery of events, from concept development and planning through to promotion, logistics, delivery and evaluation.
You'll:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a quick-paced environment and loves seeing a project come to life from start to finish.
Who we are (and why you'll love us)
We're a passionate Communications team that believes great events help tell the story of our city, celebrate achievements and bring people together.
You'll join a supportive and collaborative environment where ideas are encouraged, achievements are celebrated and professional growth is actively supported. We value teamwork, creativity, adaptability and a willingness to get involved.
No two days are the same in our team. One day you might be coordinating a civic ceremony, the next you're liaising with stakeholders or managing event logistics. We work together to deliver experiences that make a real difference to our organisation and community.
If you're someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and creating memorable experiences, you'll fit right in.

- Experience developing and implementing event marketing and communications activities
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining calm and adaptable under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset
