Elite Trades Australia is gearing up for a large, fast-paced project and we are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can take ownership, keep people moving and make smart decisions under pressure.

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit back and watch the work happen. You will be the person connecting the site team, subcontractors, admin team and compliance process—making sure jobs are planned, issues are solved early and the project stays on track.

If you have trade experience—electrical experience is highly regarded—and you know how to run a busy project without dropping the detail, we want to talk.

What you will own

•Oversee the project end to end, from mobilisation and scheduling through to completion, evidence and close-out.

•Coordinate trades, subcontractors, warehouse/materials requirements and the office team so the daily plan is realistic and clear.

•Build, maintain and adjust the project schedule; identify bottlenecks early and keep work flowing.

•Lead the on-the-ground and admin teams with calm direction, transparent priorities and fast follow-up.

•Work confidently across job-management systems, project information and compliance records.

•Keep on top of compliance requirements, documentation, audit readiness and customer/project obligations for Homes Victoria work.

•Solve problems before they become cost,



programme, customer or stakeholder issues.

•Communicate progress, risks, decisions and next steps clearly to the Elite Trades leadership team.

You will be a strong fit if you

•Have proven experience managing large trade, construction, maintenance or installation projects.

•Come from a trade background; electrical experience is a real advantage.

•Can lead a mixed team of field staff, subcontractors and admin support without creating noise or confusion.

•Are highly organised, confident with schedules and comfortable managing changing priorities.

•Learn systems quickly and use them to keep work visible and accountable.

•Understand that compliance is not an afterthought—it is part of delivering the job properly.

•Stay composed, practical and decisive when the pressure is on.
