Air conditioning 1st, 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice

Join the team at Castle Air Conditioning as a full-time Air conditioning 1st, 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice based in Cessnock, NSW. We are seeking 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentices. In this role, you will gain hands-on training and experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, working alongside an experienced technician to develop your skills and knowledge.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the installation, servicing and repair of domestic, commercial and air conditioning and refrigeration systems

Learning how to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning and refrigeration equipment

Developing practical skills in areas such as electrical wiring, pipe fitting, soldering and brazing

Maintaining a secure and organised work environment

Completing relevant trade-based training and obtaining industry qualifications

What we're looking for

Strong interest and enthusiasm for the air conditioning and refrigeration trades

Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail

Good physical fitness and manual dexterity

The ability to work effectively as part of a team

A willingness to learn and undertake formal training

A valid driver's licence
